 Referral Process To initiate a referral, please contact the New Hope Treatment Centers National Referral System at (800) 776-6482, or you may simply fax your referral to us at (843) 851-1075. There are 3 basic steps in our referral/admission process: 1) Your referral information is collected by our National Referral System and forwarded to the appropriate New Hope program clinical team for review. 2) Immediately after our clinical team has made a decision about your referral, a New Hope National Referral System representative will notify you of the decision (usually via phone call). We will also send written confirmation of the decision by fax or by mail. 3) If the child you referred is clinically acceptable for placement at New Hope, our National Referral System representative will work with you and our program staff to schedule an admission date and coordinate any necessary pre-admission documentation (Interstate Compact approval, consents, authorizations, etc.). Admissions are ideally scheduled Monday through Thursday between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. PLEASE NOTE: Although our National Referral System is based at our main business address in North Charleston, SC, admissions do not take place at this location.
