Covid19 – Update

On July 7th we had 3 epidemiological nurses from South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SC DHEC) tour key areas of of our treatment center.  The DHEC nurses spent time consulting with key members of the Medical Services team regarding our prevention and mitigation strategies related to Covid-19. The team was very complimentary of our proactive approach to the virus, and offered a few minor suggestions to improve our processes.  Our team was very proud of the review results and of our continued vigilant approach to this pandemic.

While the rest of the state and much of the country is experiencing a troublesome surge in cases, we have remained steady and in control of our internal curve. As the virus continues we will continue to educate youth and staff on safety measures that have brought us this far.  The keys to our success will continue to be:

  • Hand Washing
  • Wearing Face Masks
  • Social Distancing
  • Reporting Symptoms When Not Feeling Well
  • Screening Employees and Youth

We are all in this together, so let’s work as a TEAM to beat Covid-19.
