Key Components of Treatment

Performance Improvement
New Hope embraces a continual quality improvement approach to patient care. Each program is designed collaboratively, based on best practice and evidenced-based approaches to treatment, care and services. Clinical leaders regularly attend and present at national symposiums and trainings in an effort to stay abreast of current trends and best practice models, specific to the populations served. Each program regularly reviews the effectiveness of its approach through multi-disciplinary meetings known as program planning. These program planning meetings occur at least once per month and encourage innovative thinking from all disciplines, including feedback from the patient population, all aimed at improving the overall quality of the care provided.

New Hope regularly surveys its clients, employees, and stakeholders in an effort to elicit feedback regarding the overall quality of care provided. Leadership carefully reviews all surveys and implements changes or corrective action plans when indicated.

New Hope further operationalizes the continual quality improvement approach through the creation and maintenance of a variety of functional teams, each comprised of a representative cross section of disciplines and positions.    These teams meet regularly to create and review plans and goals established to improve the quality and/or safety of programming. The functional teams review best practice standards put forth by the Joint Commission and other leading organizations, and work to implement changes needed to policy or procedure  in order to improve upon the quality of care provided. Leadership regularly reviews the plans, goals or suggestions from these teams and provides the resources and infrastructure necessary to ensure a safe and effective approach to care. Through this collaborative, ongoing approach to quality care, New Hope strives to ensure   the care, treatment, and services provided are of the highest quality.
