New Hope Adds New and Innovative Employee Recognition Program
Rock Hill, S.C., March 17, 2025 – New Hope Treatment Center’s is thrilled to announce that it will be partnering with a company called AwardCo to create a brand-new recognition platform.
The New Hope Employee Recognition Program, a partnership with AwardCo, was designed to recognize and celebrate exceptional employee contributions, with a primary focus on promoting resident safety and their commitment to our mission. This program will utilize non-monetary and tangible personal property awards. Non-monetary recognition will include recognition messages on Birthdays and Holidays. Tangible personal property awards will be distributed through a merit-based system, referred to as “Compassion Cash,” and automatically for key work anniversaries, referred to as “Commitment Cash.”
New Hope is committed to recognizing and rewarding employees who prioritize the safety and well-being of our youth. Safety & Compassion Awards and Commitment Awards are tangible ways for leaders to show appreciation for staff who go above and beyond in their roles, particularly in demonstrating our EPIC values related to excellence, professionalism, integrity, compassion, and most importantly, patient safety. This does not replace verbal recognition and acknowledgment or shout-outs. The hope is that this will enhance our culture of recognition and celebration.
“At New Hope, we try our best to really listen to our team,” said COO Matt Simon, MA, LMFT. “Twice a year, we conduct employee pulse surveys, and we noticed a pattern that our scores around recognition were not up to our standards. In our fast-paced environment, it can be so easy to forget to focus on the positives of what our team members do every day. So, we decided to act. After an exhaustive search for the right partner, we are thrilled to be launching our Employee Recognition Program with AwardCo. Through this innovative program, our team members will be able to earn COMMPASSION cash for going above and beyond for kids and COMMITMENT cash for tenure towards our mission. These will come in the form of points where they will be able to exchange at our brand-new SWAG Store, and the best part is they will be able to use these points directly to purchase things through Amazon and even hotels. New Hope puts our money where our mouth is, and we believe a company’s budget reflects its values. And we certainly value our people.”
The program aims to recognize and reward employees who demonstrate exceptional performance and embody our core values, with a significant emphasis on patient safety. It will foster a culture of leader-to-staff appreciation and recognition, especially for safety-related contributions. The programs will incentivize behaviors that positively impact our youth, colleagues and stakeholders.
