New Hope Hero – Amy Hopkins

October 24, 2024 New Hope Heroes

Rock Hill, S.C., October 24, 2024 – New Hope Treatment Center’s latest hero has shown the ability to adapt into a new role without changing her values and qualities.

Amy Hopkins has been with New Hope for a little more than five years. She began as a team leader before transitioning to a supervisor. Although that transition to supervisor of Transformations 1 was recent, she maintained the same big heart she had for the girls on Transformations 2 while a team leader.

Ms. Hopkins’ demeanor and peaceful energy is noticeable by all staff and residents. She’s also unselfish, as she continues to aid and assist the staff and residents of Trans 2 whenever it’s needed. What really makes Amy special is that she goes above and beyond, working overtime and multiple shifts to be a resource for every member of the female communities at the facility.

Perhaps her biggest strength is her ability to understand her role as a New Hope employee. She does more than just wear the logo; she wears her heart on her sleeve.

Not only did she step up and step into a new supervisor role, she stepped up as our latest New Hope Hero, providing comfort for the different communities and setting everyone up for success.

About New Hope

Since our opening in 1987, New Hope Treatment Centers has been a welcoming place for young people in moments of crisis. Our programs have played a role in countless success stories, thanks to our relational approach to behavioral care. We get to know our kids on an individual level, and work with them and their families toward a brighter next chapter. We believe that positive, empowering, and healthy relationships are the key to changing young lives that have been impacted by childhood trauma. At New Hope, the drive is simple: change the world, one kid at a time, through the healing power of relationships. Our people show up every day, passionate about changing young people’s lives. It’s our name and our promise: new hope for every kid who comes through our doors.
