“”New Hope Treatment Centers has been in my life since I was an adolescent who was heavily struggling with seeing anything past my trauma,” said Kiara. “The name is so fitting because they did exactly as their name read, gave me new hope. Mental Health is a part of my daily life, whether that be catering to my own or advocating and being a voice for those who are still finding theirs. I am absolutely honored to be given the opportunity to be a part of the New Hope family and share my past and continued mental health and wellness journey with residents, staff, and our community. Thank you, New Hope for this platform, partnership, and opportunity. It is simply an honor.”
Kiara’s journey and path began when she was younger. Dealing with thoughts of suicide, mental abuse, depression, she was admitted to eight different mental hospitals and three different residential facilities before coming to New Hope as her last resort. Kiara knew she had to make a change and began her treatment at New Hope with three goals which she set out to accomplish. Upon completion of the program nearly 15 years ago, she returned to high school and finished top of her class. Kiara currently works in the Career Services department as an Event & Marketing Specialist and is earning her master’s degree in clinical psychology with a focus in Adolescent Psychology. She’s a mother of two, a wife, friend and daughter.
“I literally could not be more excited and honored that Kiara Grace Nalle is going to be contributing her gifts to New Hope as our Mental Health Ambassador,” said COO Matt Simon, MA, LMFT. “Kiara graduated from New Hope more than a decade ago and she is an amazing testament to the power of effective treatment and why we can never give up on kids. Now, as a successful professional, wife, mother, podcaster, etc. – she is a beacon of hope and an inspiration. We created this role not to shine a spotlight on New Hope specifically. It’s about shining a spotlight on every hurt kid out there, their stories, their hopes and dreams and how our systems can all rally together to meet the mental health crisis our country is experiencing head on.”
