Reading and Football = Touchdown!

Recently our Education Department Hosted a Literacy Celebration to promote reading with a little bit of fun and friendly competition.

“Touchdown for Reading” is a three-week celebration of reading. This is a competition between our male and female units. The first 100 books read is considered a touchdown. The unit with the most touchdowns is the winner. Each day, teachers track their students’ reading and at the end of each week, the Literacy Committee will collect all weekly tracking sheet and tally the results. The winning unit will enjoy a bag of goodies.
