Residential care,
rooted in relationships.
youth-focused PRTF
When others have given up, we're just getting started. At our flagship psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) in Rock Hill, South Carolina, we offer young people the chance at a fresh start.
Serving residents ages 12-21, our programs are all about relationships. Our therapists, doctors, case managers, teachers, and direct care staff are incredible at what they do, but for us, true healing lies in building authentic connections. Our goal is simple: to return young people to their communities with renewed hope and skills to thrive.
Traditional residential programs that focus only on the youth are missing a huge piece of the puzzle. At New Hope, we’re determined to do things differently, viewing residential treatment as a journey the entire family takes together.
In the Bridge Program, we employ full-time Transition Specialists who work directly with parents during their kids’ time with us. This way, as the youth are making progress towards a brighter future, their parents are doing the same.
Our newest residential program offers a unique solution to a nationwide crisis: older adolescents trapped in the child welfare system. Presenting an alternative to life in shelters, hotels and county offices, our program is focused on providing short-term stabilization and intensive treatment in small, therapeutic home settings.
New Hope proudly offers a fully-accredited education program at our PRTF. Want to learn more?
