Education a strong part of our foundation at New Hope
New Hope’s educational program is fully accredited through Coginia. In 2006, the North Central
Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), and the Southern
Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS
CASI), unified to form AdvancED. In 2019 AdvancED changed it’s name to Coginia. Dedicated to advancing excellence in education, Coginia provides accreditation, research, and professional services to 23,000 schools in 65 countries, serving 15 million students.
New Hope provides comprehensive educational services in a residential setting. The primary
purpose of our educational programming is to help each student succeed academically. We strive to
provide a positive experience by building on each student’s existing academic strengths and
encouraging his or her investment in school. We want all students prepared for a successful transition
to their next educational experience.
Check out the recent work from the young-lady’s on our Transformations II Program. The assignment, in honor of Women’s History Month, and in conjunction with our Science Fair, was to research and display Women and Their Inventions. I would say they did a phenomenal job! Kudos to the young-lady’s on Transformations II and all the dedicated education staff that guided this project!
