Introducing Our Employees of The Quarter!
Each quarter we like to take a moment and spotlight some employees doing exceptional work with the kids we treat. We hope you enjoy learning about our recent winners!
The Employee of the Quarter is Porsha Carter. Way to go Ms. Carter! Ms. Carter is a seasoned staff member who currently serves as the team Team Leader on our female Transformations Program. She is well known as a hard-worker and wonderful team player, putting co-workers and kids needs before her own. Thank you, Ms. Carter!
The Role Model of the Quarter is, Kim Hudson. Ms. Hudson recently completed her Master’s degree and serves as a great role model for the kids and staff on our Learning Enriched Autism Program (LEAP). Approaching 2 years with us, her position as Registered Behaviors Technician (RBT) provides many opportunities to interact and role model for the kids and staff on LEAP. We are fortunate to have her as part of the New Hope Team! Thank you, Ms. Hudson!
The Safety Award of the Quarter goes to, Mr. Frank Porter. Mr. Porter has been with New Hope for 7.5 years and is in our lead position for Building Maintenance. He can often be seen attending to all of our building systems to include: HVAC, plumbing, key systems, elevators, doors, etc. Recently, Frank has operationalized a brilliant idea to safely secure all our fire extinguishers. This simple but elegant idea produced immediate results with less “false” alarms and unlocked doors to previous unrestricted access to the extinguishers. Frank is constantly surveying the building for anything that could pose a safety hazard. Thank you, Mr. Porter!
The Educator of the Quarter is, Ms. Phyllis Williams. Ms. Williams always puts in extra effort to meet the needs of her students. She has worked many long days to offer the best possible educational experience to meet the needs of her students. One of her many strengths is her ability to craft individual educational plans for her students. During the pandemic her students didn’t miss a beat because of her exceptional instruction virtually. Thank you, Ms. Williams.
The Customer Service Shining Star Award goes to, Ms. Shirley Djedje. Those who encounter Ms. Djedje are struck by her infectious smile and her relentless positive attitude. She has really shown brightly in her recent role as entry screener – brightening our day with her friendly demeanor. She also routinely goes above and beyond to cleanup, dress, up areas of the porch and lobby to help us look better as an agency. That attention to detail helped her win this prestigious award. Thank you, Ms. Djedje!
