Meet Gina R. Padula, M.D.
Dr. Padula is a board certified Child and Adolescent psychiatrist and the Medical Director at New Hope Treatment Centers. She received her BS from Union College and her MD from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. She completed her residencies in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Prior to working at New Hope Treatment Centers, she was the Physician-in-Charge of the Child Psychiatry Inpatient Unit and the Consultation Liaison Service at Schneider Children’s Hospital (now known as the Cohen Children’s Medical Center).
In the past, Dr. Padula has conducted research involving Bipolar Disorder in Adolescents. She has co-authored numerous articles on Bipolar Disorder, and has been a presenter at national meetings such as the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
