Rock Hill, S.C., July 24, 2023 – New Hope Treatment Centers received a significant distinction on Thursday, July 20.

New Hope’s Education program received full reaccreditation, having met the criteria, as established by the COGNIA Global Commission. The certificate was presented by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, the Northwest Accreditation Commission, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement. In 2006, those four entities unified to form COGNIA. Dedicated to advancing excellence in education, COGNIA provides accreditation, research, and professional services to 23,000 schools in 65 countries, serving 15 million students.

New Hope provides comprehensive educational services in a residential setting. The primary purpose of the educational program is to help each student succeed academically. Striving to provide a positive experience by building on each student’s existing academic strengths and encouraging his or her investment in school. Under the guidance of New Hope Carolinas wants all students prepared for a successful transition to their next educational experience.

“This is a testament to the quality of our education program and the dedication of every one of our education staff,” said Chief Operating Officer at New Hope, Matt Simon. “Us achieving this accreditation is what allows for our kids’ credits to transfer back to their home schools after they graduate from our program. It’s not uncommon for many of our New Hope students to make significant educational gains while they’re with us. Many of them are brilliant kids who just can’t maintain enough stability to engage in school. We even have kids who successfully graduate from high school while they’re with us which is just one of the coolest things ever.”
