Program Director Celebrates 18th Anniversary at New Hope
Sandra Calhoun-White, LPC–S is celebrating her eighteenth year at New Hope Carolinas, Inc. Ms. Calhoun-White was hired in 1998 as a therapist. Her skills as a clinician and leader were quickly recognized and she was promoted to Residential Manager in 2004 and Program Director in 2006. An accomplished clinician, Sandra is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in South Carolina. She is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and accomplished in the treatment of trauma and sexual harm. Ms. Calhoun-White has presented locally and nationally on a variety of topics, is a long standing clinical member of ATSA and is rostered through the SC Project Best as a trauma specialist. Sandra completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Education at Winthrop University. She is a native resident of Rock Hill, SC.
