New Hope Happenings – Group Home, Facility Upgrades, Sponsorships and Community Engagement
Rock Hill, S.C., September 29, 2023 – New Hope Treatment Centers has had a busy month of evolving, upgrades, announcements and continued excellence serving in the community.
Earlier this week, Chief Operating Officer, Matt Simon MA LMFT, was part of a panel that appeared on WCNC for its Virtual Town Hall. The event was held for suicide prevention month and was streamed on YouTube. For more on the Town Hall and to watch the full event.
New Hope was proud and excited about two major announcements coming in early October. The organization will be the presenting sponsor for the 10th annual NAMIWalks fundraising event on Saturday, October 7 in Rock Hill. More than 80 New Hope employees have registered thus far. Those interested in taking part in the walk or making a donation can still do so.
Just two days following the NAMIWalks, our services will expand with an outreach and presence in Dallas, NC. A new group home will be unveiled with an open house on October 9. New Hope will officially begin serving youth in the group home shortly after. Available New Hope staff and select Mecklenburg County officials are welcomed to attend the open house from 1pm-3pm.
Two weeks ago, several staff and leadership members were on hand at Rolling in Rock Hill. It was a great event, aiding in the facelift of homes in the community.
Facelifts were not just an external update. New Hope had an internal facelift as well with some upgrades to the facility in Rock Hill. New wood flooring was installed throughout the building, giving the lobby and halls a much cleaner and brighter look. There are more facility upgrades scheduled as well, so stay tuned for additional updates.
