New Hope to Serve as Presenting Sponsor for the 2023 NAMIWalks
Rock Hill, S.C., September 22, 2023 – New Hope Treatment Centers is honored to be the presenting sponsor for this year’s NAMIWalks fundraising event.
Held on Saturday, October 7 at Cherry Park in Rock Hill, S.C. beginning at 9:00 a.m., the 2023 NAMIWalks will be the 10th annual.
“Although New Hope serves youth from across the country, we will never lose sight of our role as a member of our local community,” said Chief Operating Officer, Matt Simon, MA LMFT. “We love our Rock Hill community, where hundreds of our team members reside, and will always look for ways to give back. We are honored to lean in and support the mission of the great folks at NAMI Piedmont Tri-County. The youth that we at New Hope serve often represent kids who we as a mental system missed an opportunity to support and intervene with years ago. NAMI is all about pushing our mental health system to get more preventative, proactive and upstream. We support that mission with every fiber of our being.”
New Hope has participated in the annual walk in each of the last few years but will have an even more prominent role on October 7. We have been partnering with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in more ways over that time. Almost a year ago to the day, we launched our Parent Support groups which were facilitated by NAMI. The organizations have been supporting one another in the never-ending mission to treat mental health.
“New Hopes Presenting Sponsorship is much more than a monetary donation, it’s a commitment to the community,” said NAMI Piedmont Tri-County Executive Director, Robert White, MBA, NRP. “New Hope is leading by example on and off the field, leading in the arena of mental health.”
