New Hope Hero – Ms. Sitina Digby

March 29, 2024 New Hope Heroes

Rock Hill, S.C., March 29, 2024 – When the New Hope Treatment Center Heroes were initiated about two years ago, the qualifications that today’s recipient possesses immediately came to mind.

More than 20 New Hope Hero honorees later and with more than 27 years of incredible work with our organization, Ms. Sitina Digby is as deserving as they come. Sitina is willing to do just about anything that is asked of her to improve New Hope. Over her 27 years, she has been in multiple departments bringing something special that only she can. Her energy is unmatched, and she has a constant smile. Her demeanor and the joy in her voice resonates, which can be heard on full display at events like our Grill & Chill, the End-of-Year celebration, our Culture video and more.

When asked what her superpower is, here’s what was said; “There are few people that can touch your soul; Sitina is one of those few people”. Short and sweet, but also something that could be considered an actual superpower.

Sitina’s superpower and passion were recently rewarded, as she was promoted from a Health Information Specialist to the role of Performance and Quality Specialist.

“I am so pleased to announce that Sitina McCreary (Digby) has been promoted to the role of PQI Specialist at New Hope Carolinas PRTF”, said COO Matt Simon, MA, LMFT. “If you don’t know Sitina, which I’d be almost shocked if you don’t, she has an unbelievable level of commitment to New Hope, our kids and our mission that she has put on display for literally decades. She has held multiple roles at our organization and has earned this next step in her career. She radiates optimism and positivity and focuses on all the right things. As one of our PQI Specialists, Sitina will be integral in quarterbacking our Youth Advisory Board and ensuring our youths’ voices are heard. She will help ensure our programs and culture are of the highest caliber, quality, and compliance. I couldn’t be more excited for how our new PQI team is taking shape at New Hope Carolinas.”

Sitina has seen the family-like environment at New Hope firsthand and truly understands what the mission has been. “It is awesome to see kids grow. They come in and they hate being here, but when it is time for them to leave, many don’t want to go. It makes me feel like we are doing something right and something special”.

We wouldn’t be doing something right if it weren’t for dedicated individuals like today’s deserving New Hero, Ms. Sitina Digby.
